Quaife ATB Diffs
We now have the full range of Quaife ATB diff units listed
Unlike a conventional plate-style limited slip differential, the Quaife ATB Helical LSD differential relies on gears rather than clutch plates for its operation. That means it is much smoother in operation.
The Quaife ATB Helical LSD differential never locks harshly with a set pre-load of wheel slip across the driven axle, like a conventional LSD. Rather, the ATB differential automatically biases the torque away from the spinning wheel across the axle, to a constantly varying degree, and never locks.
The ATB diff has many benefits over a standard open differential, including maximising traction and minimizing wheelspin, eliminating torque steer and snatching in front wheel drive cars compared to conventional LSD units, and a maintenance-free design which retains the standard oil lubrication.
Quaife ATB LSD's differential is proven in circuit and drag racing, rallying and road use, and is produced from Corus steel billets, and is CAD designed and CNC machined, then inspected to ISO 9001 standards.

Atlas / English Axle Component Added Today
These two-piece shafts are designed to be a direct replacement for the standard half shafts allowing for standard bearing fitment and without the need to machine any parts. Manufactured from up rated material these large diameter shafts come in either 22T English, 16T Atlas or 18T Group 4 splines. The half shafts use a conned washer and lock nut design to eliminate the common problem of shaft nuts coming undone under hard cornering. This works by tightening the locking nut, which contacts the coned washer making it grip down on to the shaft ensuring flange and all internals stay in the correct position. The special locking nut can then be locked onto the shaft further ensuring no movement can occur. To complement the shafts you will need to purchase the half shaft flanges which enable correct wheel fitment, with coned washer’s and locking nut’s. All of this can be retro fitted with ease and with the minimum of fuss. 
Our fully floating, two-piece Group 4 18T spline half shaft provides a real alternative for more demanding applications and cars. These up rated half shafts are made from high alloy steel and with a larger diameter means they have the strength to cope with the most demanding conditions.
